WI vs IND, 1st ODI: Wasim Jaffer Picks Playing XI Of Team India, No Place For Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan

The first ODI between India and West Indies will be played tomorrow (July 27) at Kensington Barbados Oval. India has already won the Test series and now they will look to dominate in the 50-over format as well.

For the same, the former India opener Wasim Jaffer has picked his playing XI. Jaffer posted this XI on his official Twitter Handle.

While naming the XI, he picked skipper Rohit Sharma and young Shubman Gill to open the innings. At number three, he has placed Indian batting star Virat Kohli. For the wicket-keeper’s role, he has placed Sanju Samson at number four.

Hardik Pandya takes his place at number five in Jaffer’s playing XI and number six has been occupied by Suryakumar Yadav. Apart from Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja is the other all-rounder who is at number seven while Axar Patel has been there at number eight. The chinaman Kuldeep Yadav is at ninth position in this playing XI while Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik are two fast bowling options.
