The Indian cricket team star Ishan Kishan, who is known for his aggressive batting style, did not feature in Jharkhand’s second Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Rajasthan. He is a left-handed keeper-batter who just recently made the news with his century against Karnataka which was very fast. Today, however, he was one of the three players excluded from Jharkhand’s playing XI, and Kumar Kushagra was the one who mentioned the reason for his being left out.

Jharkhand’s stand-in skipper Kumar Kushagra went to the toss in the absence of Ishan Kishan. As Rajasthan won the toss and decided to bowl first, Kushagra stated that the BCCI team had recommended Ishan to take a break.
Ishan has gone home, and that is why he is not playing against Rajasthan. Nevertheless, Kushagra also mentioned that the left-handed batter would come back to the squad on January 2.
Thus, he will be absent from Jharkhand’s next two group-stage matches against Puducherry and Tamil Nadu as well as the likely recovery of his Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Kerala on January 3.
“He (Ishan Kishan) has been given rest by the BCCI team. He has gone back home. He will be back on 2nd January,” Kushagra was quoted as saying by CREX.
