Ben Stokes and company are all set to bounce back in the fourth test match of the series, which is set to be played in Ranchi. The visitors are currently behind in the series by a margin of 2-1.
However, ahead of the fourth test match against India, England’s skipper Ben Stokes has started attaining full fitness, as he was seen bowling in the nets ahead of the fourth test.
Stokes was last seen bowling for England in the second test match of the ashes series, and his last wicket in test cricket was against Australian pace bowler Josh Hazelwood.
Stokes has so far kept himself away from bowling in the ongoing test series against India because of the injury concern; however, he has started to ball in the nets in order to attain 100% fitness.
England’s vice captain, Ollie Pope, also gave hints about Ben Stokes bowling in the series, but all depending on his fitness and how he pulls up.
With Stokes bowling in the nets, it might not be very far to see Stokes taking the all-rounder role for England in the longer formats of the game.
Both teams are set to face each other in Ranchi on February 23.
