Who’s ahead KKR or SRH in head to head battle ahead of match 3

Two-time IPL winners KKR are set to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening encounter of the tournament. This is going to be the third game of the tournament. The Sunrisers will step onto the field under the captaincy of Pat Cummins.

The match will be played in Eden Gardens; therefore, fans are expected to turn up in large numbers for the home team.

KKR will receive a major boost with the return of Shreyas Iyer, who missed the entire season on previous occasions due to a back injury. Shreyas Iyer got injured this year as well but is fit and expected to play the entire tournament for KKR.

Apart from Shreyas Iyer, all eyes will be on Mitchell Starc, who’s the most expensive player in the history of the IPL. It will be interesting to see what he brings with himself to the field.

On the other hand, SRH will have a new captain and coach in the form of Pat Cummins and Daniel Vettori. The Sunrisers were led by Aiden Markram in the previous season but are set to be captained by Pat Cummins in this year’s IPL.

Head-to-head: KKR and Sunrisers have faced each other on 25 occasions in the IPL.. SRH has the upper hand over KKR head-to-head as the Orange Army has come out victorious on 16 occasions while KKR has won nine encounters.
