When Will MS Dhoni Take Retirement From IPL? Ambati Rayudu Gives Major Prediction

After the game between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium MS Dhoni was seen limping again. He also feels discomfort when getting off the team bus. He had surgery after the last IPL season, but it seems like his recovery hasn’t been as good as expected.

Despite his knee problem, MS Dhoni batted in the final over against the team led by Hardik Pandya. He hit three consecutive sixes off the MI captain and added a quickfire 20 runs off just 4 balls to the team’s total, taking it to 206/4 in 20 overs.

Meanwhile, the former Indian batter Ambati Rayudu who has played for both Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, expressed his happiness at seeing his favorite cricketer, Dhoni, scoring runs. Not only this, he also made a significant statement regarding Dhoni’s retirement from the IPL.

While talking on Star Sports, Rayudu said, “He is batting with full flavor, and I haven’t seen him keep wickets so well in the last five years. He has been excellent behind the stumps and is giving good results. I am amazed to see his body movement. Dhoni Bhai also runs well between the wickets while taking singles and doubles. I feel he should continue playing in the Indian Premier League for another five years. He can easily last long in the tournament for that period.”

Chennai gained the fourth victory of the season beating Mumbai Indians by 20 runs. It was Matheesha Pathirana from CSK who claimed four wickets to stop Mumbai at 186/6.
