Royal Challengers Bengaluru pace bowler Yash Dayal said that he went through a lot emotionally after Rinku Singh hit him for five sixes. Yash Dayal said that it took him a long time to focus back on cricket.
Yash Dayal has made a phenomenal start in this year’s IPL. The pacer had a phenomenal outing with the ball against the Punjab Kings as well. The pacer picked up one wicket, giving away 23 runs.
In his recent interaction with IPL, Yash Dayal shared how he recovered from an incident when Rinku Singh hit him for five sixes.
Yash Dayal said, “After that match, when I returned to the dressing room, I felt very bad. I was told not to check social media. But, I did check a few comments. I spoke to my and I was hurting, family thinking about people would be thinking about me after that. In the next two days, I fell ill. It took some time for me to recover, return, and focus on playing games.”.
Yash further added, “But then, I realized that I am not the first person to experience this, and I won’t be the last. So I put it behind me and started focusing on the process again. I thought returning to a high-pressure environment would only make me tackle the situation.”
