What Coach Rahul Dravid Has To Say After India Knocked Out From The Asia Cup 2022?

Rahul Dravid, head coach of the India National Cricket Team, has stated that he regards his role in the Indian team as a support for the captain and the group. He added that one of his responsibilities is to assist the athletes in “getting the best out of themselves.”

On Thursday, September 8, the Indian Team will play the Afghanistan National Cricket Team, which is coached by Mohammad Nabi, in the fifth match of the Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 phase at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Before the play began, Rahul Dravid said that it was up to the players and the skipper to carry out the strategies and advance the team while they were on the field. He said, “I see my role as a support to the captain and the team. Helping the team to get the best out of themselves. But once they are on the field, it’s up to the players and the captain to execute their plans and take the team forward.”

He also said that Rohit Sharma is pretty relaxed and decided to take a break from India – Afghanistan match. He added, “I think Rohit is pretty relaxed, and pretty much the whole team is. You got to put things in perspective. We lost a couple of games on a pitch, on a ground that has not been easy to defend on.”

The Men in Blue have lost a few games in the competition, but that doesn’t make them a bad squad, according to the head coach. He concluded, “Just because we have lost a couple of games, it doesn’t mean we are a terrible team. I think we don’t need to overreact with things. It’s a balanced environment, whether we win or we lose. We keep going on the same path, the journey continues.”
