The 9th match of IPL was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore yesterday.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) suffered an embarrassing defeat by 81 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Shardul Thakur scored 68 runs in 29 balls, which included 9 fours and three sixes

This is the second-highest score batting at number seven in the history of IPL.

Narine took 2, Varun took 4, and Suyash took 3 wickets.  In this way, KKR spinners took a total of 9 wickets.

Earlier in the 15-year history of IPL, there was a record of most 8 wickets by spinners in an inning.

In 2012, Chennai Super Kings spinners took 8 wickets against Delhi Capitals.

At the same time, KKR's spin trio has broken this 11-year-old record.  Also, the spinners took a total of 12 wickets in this match.

Thus, this is the most wickets spinners take in an IPL match.

Today, there will be a clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad on 7th April.
