“We just need to be…” Hardik Pandya’s big Statement after Mumbai’s third loss of the season

The Mumbai Indians have suffered their third straight loss of the season. The five-time champions were convincingly defeated by the Rajasthan Royals in their first home game of the season by six wickets.

However, in spite of three conspicuous losses, Mumbai’s skipper, Hardik Pandya, has backed his team for an improved show in the upcoming matches.

Hardik Pandya was the lone warrior in Mumbai’s batting, and he asked his batters to show more courage.

Hardik Pandya said, “Results: sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t think much surprises me anymore. But as a group, we believe we can pull off a lot of better things going forward, and we just need to be more disciplined and show more courage.”

It was another tough night for Hardik Pandya, as he was constantly booed from the crowd. Later on, Trent Boult and Nandre Burger rattled Mumbai’s top order in a flash, further adding to misery.

However, Hardik Pandya did score some runs, scoring 34 out of just 21 deliveries, which included six boundaries.
Hardik was dismissed after getting set and took the blame upon himself for his team’s flop show with the bat.
Hardik Pandya said, “I think we were in a decent position to give us a chance to get to 150 or 160, but I think my wicket changed the game and brought them more into the game, and I think I could have done better.”
The Mumbai Indians will play their next game against the Delhi Capitals on April 7 in Mumbai.
