RCB’s star batters Virat Kohli and Harpreet Brar were involved in an on-field banter in yesterday’s clash between Royal Challengers Bangaluru and Punjab Kings. Harpreet Brar was in a hurry to start his third over of his spell.
The incident took place in the 13th over of the match.
RCB required 74 runs in the final eight overs, and that was the time when Virat Kohli asked Harpreet Brar to slow down a bit.
Virat Kohli was heard saying, “Ruk jaa ***, saans to lene de.” Maxwell, who was getting ready to face Harpreet Brar, was also seen laughing at the same thing.
However, Harpreet Brar got Maxwell out on the very first delivery, which he bowled after the incident took place. It was the fourth time that Maxwell got out to Harpreet Brar in the IPL.
Kohli, on the other hand, played a masterful innings, scoring 77 of just 49 deliveries, which included 11 boundaries and two sixes, helping his side win the encounter by four wickets.
