Looking at the upcoming ODI world cup, the team will start their journey next year with the white ball from 3rd January. The report from the sources claimed that MCA would increase the ticket price of the first T20I match as per the previous T20I ticket prize.

“With costs having gone up, the budget for organizing a T20I has increased since then, so we felt a need to increase the ticket prices for the public slightly. The (subsidized) ticket prices for the MCA’s clubs and donors (7,000) will remain the same,” claimed one of the sources.

Indian team played the last T20I encounter at Wankhede Stadium on 6th December 2019 against West Indies, and the ticket price will be increased up to 15-20% from that match. The decision to increase the ticket prize was made in the MCA Apex Council Meeting on 9th December.
