Watch Video: Virat Kohli Names Him As The ‘Impact Player’ And Biggest Threat For India In WTC Final

The final of the World Test Championship is starting today at the Kennington Oval where India and Australia will lock horns to emerge the champion of the longest format of the game. Before it, the star Indian batter Virat Kohli had a conversation with ICC and named the ‘impact player’ from Australia who could be a threat to Rohit Sharma & company.

The star Indian batter talked about the Australian legendary open David Warner and his absolute potential to make his team win in any situation.

Talking about David Warner with ICC, Kohli said, “Impact Player! when David gets going he will take the game away from you pretty quickly. He is someone we probably look to get out very quickly otherwise he can hurt you very early and consistently he seems to have this zone and he starts hitting boundaries and he does not stop.”

Talking further Kohli added,” He doesn’t make many mistakes in that space. He has always played impactful innings for Australia across formats. In Test cricket as well, he has played some amazing innings for the Australian team. Certainly, he is a very dangerous player, and as I said we need to get rid of him very quickly.”

Warner has played 103 matches for Australia in which he has scored 8158 runs at an average of 45.58. Till date, he has 25 centuries and 34 fifties for the Aussies.
