After the two warm-up games against Perth, Team India has finally reached Melbourne for the blockbuster match against Pakistan on October 23.
Rohit Sharma and company took the flight and reached Australia on October 6. After some hardcore practice sessions, the team played two warm-up games against Western Australia. Then the team moved to Brisbane where they completed its first warm-up game against the defending champions Australia, but the second game against New Zealand was washed out due to rain. Against Australia, team India clinched a six-run victory, thanks to the terrific bowling by speedster Mohammed Shami. In the same match, the opener KL Rahul and middle-order giant Suryakumar Yadav managed to get the fifties. Now the team has reached Melbourne where they will give the final touch to their preparation. The Board Of Control For Cricket In India(BCCI) posted a video on its official Twitter handle in which players were seen leaving the hotel in Brisbane and taking the flight to Melbourne.
Star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal posted an Instagram story in which he was seen sitting with Shardul Thakur, Rohit Sharma, Axar Patel, and Mohammed Shami.

The interesting part is the family of many cricketers has arrived in Melbourne solely. The families did not go with the players when they flew to Perth on October 6.
