Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant who underwent a fatal accident last year is now recovering well. Pant has suffered significant consequences due to the car accident, as he has already missed important events such as the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the IPL 2023 season. Also, he might not recover in time for the World Cup later this year.
Despite these challenging circumstances, Pant seems to have accepted the setback and is determined to recover completely. His positive attitude and commitment may help him get fit again more quickly than he had expected.
Rishabh Pant uploaded a video of a pool rehab session to his Instagram account and captioned it,” Grateful for a small thing, big things and everything in between. 🙏#RP17″
Rishabh Pant spoke with IANS a few weeks ago about his recovery process and how the accident changed his perspective. He has come to terms with the fact that the healing process has only temporarily slowed down his life and made him appreciate the simple things more.
On this, Pant stated, “I am much better now and making some good progress with my recovery. I’ve gained a fresh perspective on how I view my life now. Something I value today is enjoying my life to the fullest and this includes the smallest of things that we ignore in our daily routine. While trying to achieve our goals, it seems like we’ve taken the regular things in life for granted.”
Delhi capitals will play in IPL 2023 in the absence of Rishabh Pant and David Warner has been named as the captain of Delhi for the 16th edition of IPL.
