Watch VIDEO: Out Or Not Out? Bairstow Dismissed With The Most Shocking And Controversial Run-out

On the fifth day of the Lord’s Test in the Ashes 2023, a controversy arose after the bizarre dismissal of England’s wicket-keeper batter Jonny Bairstow.

England is chasing a target of 371 runs and on the last ball of the 52nd over when Cameron Green clocked a bouncer, Bairstow made a duck. The English wicket-keeper assumed that Green had completed his over and he started walking out of the crease. The Australian wicket-keeper Alex Carey looked at it as a chance and hit the stump from behind the wickets and then Aussies claimed it as run out.

After this shocking attempt by the Aussies, the on-field umpire referred this decision to the third umpire who marked out to Bairstow. He walked to the pavilion after scoring 10 runs only.

For England, Ben Stokes is struggling alone with Stuart Broad. The captain of the English Cricket Team has already scored a hundred and now he will need to take help from the remaining batters in order to save this match.
