When India lifted the World Cup in 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, not only the cricket fans but also the common people came out of their houses to celebrate the most memorable win in history.The Indian cricket team led by MS Dhoni emerged victorious against Sri Lanka in the 2011 World Cup final at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Dhoni hit an iconic six to seal the match for India. It was the second World Cup title for India in 28 years after their first win in 1983.On this biggest occasion, Chennai Super Kings CSK shared a tweet where MS Dhoni recreated the most iconic moment during the practice session.

Sri Lanka veteran pacer Lasith Malinga gave the initial blow to India and sent Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar at ease. Virat Kohli then took charge and stitched an 83-run partnership with Gautam Gambhir. But in the end, Kohli was dismissed by Dilshan.

Dhoni and Gambhir then combined forces, putting on a magnificent century stand to guide India to the win.
