In the first qualifier of IPL 2023, Chennai Super Kings will face Gujarat Titans at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Hardik Pandya’s side finished the points table with 20 points and it will not be easy for CSK to compete against the defending champions.
Ahead of the game at Chepauk, the captain of Chennai Super Kings MS Dhoni was seen sharpening his batting skills during practice. The English all-rounder Moeen Ali who plays for Chennai Super Kings was sitting at square leg and closely observing the batting of MS Dhoni. During this Dhoni electrocute pull shot for a six which caught the attention of Moeen.

Dhoni has been phenomenal for Chennai Super Kings in the death overs. He is not forcing himself to play more overs due to his knee problem. However, the six abilities of Dhoni have shocked everyone this year and he has gathered important runs for the team in the penultimate overs.
Chennai Super Kings finished the season with 17 points in the point table. For them, Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad have performed brilliantly in the top order. Shivam Dube has been the six-hitting machine for Chennai Super Kings and till now the left-handed batter has got 33 sixes in this edition. In the bowling department, Tushar Deshpande has got 20 wickets, while Pathirana and Deepak Chahar have been the commanders of the pace attack.
