Watch VIDEO: Mohammed Siraj Scatters Travis Head’s Stumps, Sends Him Pavilion With A Clean Bowled

The first ODI of a three-match series between India and Australia is taking place at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on March 17. In this match, Indian captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bowl first. The visitors did not have a good start and they lost the wicket of Travis Head when the team was standing at five runs.

Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj got Travis Head on the last ball of the second over. He was sent back to the Pavilion on his individual score of 5 runs. The fast bowler delivered a well-pitched ball from the side of the wicket, with the ball moving away from the left-handed batsman. Meanwhile, the batsman moved out of his stance area to play a shot through the covers.

However, Head missed this ball to middle it and it took the inside edge, going directly to the leg stump and dismantling it from the root.

At the age of 29, Siraj has taken the most number of wickets in ODI matches since the year 2022. In 21 matches, he has managed to take 39 wickets. His exceptional performances with the ball have also helped him to reach the number one position in the ICC ODI bowler’s rankings as of January 2023. He currently has a rating of 729 points.
