Recently, Chennai Super Kings lifted the trophy for the fifth time under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Moeen Ali has been part of the team since 2021 and has already won two trophies.

While choosing these eleven, he has picked three Australians and one player from the West Indies. He has picked all-rounder Shane Watson, opener Michael Hussey, all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and pacer Josh Hazlewood from Australia.
For opening, he has picked Ruturaj Gaikwad along with Shane Watson. At number three, he has placed Suresh Raina who had been the most consistent batter for CSK. Ambati Rayudu has got the number four place.
