Watch VIDEO: Mitchell Marsh Smashes A Monstrous Six, Reads Around 110M

The captain of the Australian cricket team Mitchell Marsh showcased his beast batting skills by smashing a powerful six off Andre Russell in the first T20I against the West Indies in Hobart on February 9th.

While coming to bat, Mitchell Marsh took his time and got only four runs from six balls. However, the Australian captain quickly adjusted to a back-of-a-length delivery from Russell and executed a remarkable front-foot pull over deep mid-wicket.

Mitchell Marsh timed the ball so perfectly that it nearly struck the big screen. Had it not been for the presence of the big screen, the ball likely would have cleared the stadium boundaries.

In this match, Australia beat the West Indies by 11 runs. While batting first, Australia scored 213 runs at the loss of seven wickets in allotted overs. For Australia, Warner scored the maximum 70 runs off just 36 balls. Josh Inglish got 39 runs while Tim David contributed 37 balls.

For West Indies, Andre Russell got three wickets, Alzarri Joseph got two while Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd managed to get one wicket each.

While chasing the target, West Indies almost reached the target but fell short of 11 runs. For West Indies, Brandon King got the maximum 53 runs, with good scores of Jhonson Charles 42 and Jason Holder 34.
