West Indies and India are facing each other in the first Test match of the two-match Test series. The match is being played at Windsor Park, Dominica in which West Indian captain Kraigg Brathwaite won the toss and elected to bowl first.
In this match, star Indian wicket-keepers Ishan Kishan and Yashavi Jaiswal are making their debut. Kishan who is keeping gloves behind the wicket is involved in a solid dismissal of Raymon Reifer on the ball of Shardul Thakur.
The incident happened on the second ball of the 20th over when Reifer tried to drive a full-length delivery by Shardul Thakur. The ball took an edge of the bat and went behind the wickets where Ishan Kishan took a flying catch in style. It was the first dismissal for Ishan as wicket-keeper behind the wickets.
Before the toss, the debut of Ishan Kishan was not expected, and only Yashasvi Jaiswal was rumored to make it into the playing till.
Till the time of this news, West Indies was five down for 82 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have grabbed two wickets each while Shardul Thakur has got one wicket.
