In the 15th match of Major League Cricket, Seattle Orcas beat MI New York by 2 wickets. For Orcas, South African batter Heinrich Klaasen took the MI bowlers on remand and smashed a brilliant century for which he was picked as Man Of The Match.
The highlight of the match was Heinrich Klaasen smashing three sixes and a four in a single over against Rashid Khan and he gathered a total of 26 runs in an over.
The South African wicketkeeper-batter began the over by hitting two consecutive sixes. For the first one he came off the back-foot and hammered the ball which was short in length and he smashed the second one over the mid-wicket for a maximum.
After hitting the two back-to-back sixes, Klaasen managed to take a double. Rashid again bowled short ball and taking the advantage Klaasen again hit a boundary and another six off those deliveries.
In this match, while batting first MI New York scored 194 runs at the loss of two wickets. For the team, wicket-keeper batter Nicholas Pooran smashed 68 runs, and skipper Kieron Pollard also contributed with 34 runs.
