Team India and England are currently playing the third test match of the five-match test series in Rajkot. However, a humorous incident took place between Ravindra Jadeja and James Anderson on day one of the third test in Rajkot.
England’s veteran pace bowler James Anderson took a playful jibe at India’s star all-rounder Ravindra after he completed his hundred on the first day of the third test match.
Jadeja took a single of James Anderson’s deliveries to complete his hundred and did his famous sword celebration;
however, in the same over, while Jadeja was on 99, he was involved in the unfortunate runout of team India’s middle-order batter, Sarfraz Khan.
After the over was completed and James Anderson took his cap from the umpire, he had a chat with Ravindra Jadeja, asking him to celebrate his hundred and suggesting he wave his bat to the crowd.
Team India’s middle-order batter, Sarfraz Khan, made an elegant 62 before getting run out due to miscommunication between him and Jadeja, which led to his dismissal.
Speaking of the match, team India finished their innings with 445/10 after Jadeja (112) and Rohit (131) both scored 100, while Dhurv Jurel (46) and Sarfraz Khan (62) played cameos for team India, helping them to get near the 450 mark. For England, it was Mark Wood who was the star of their bowling, as he picked up three wickets in the first inning.
