Gujarat Titans’ skipper Shubman Gill caught up with his senior and star batter Virat Kohli before their IPL 2024 match in Bengaluru on May 3. The Gujarat Titans franchise also shared a glimpse of their brief interaction after their training session.
The skipper of Gujarat Titans Shubman Gill was seen heading towards Virat Kohli, who appeared to be relaxed, in the RCB dressing room. Gill had just finished practicing with the Gujarat Titans and was going to meet his teammate Kohli.
During their conversation, Kohli playfully inquired if the 24-year-old had completed his practice.
Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill were last seen playing together for Team India during the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan at home in January this year. Kohli has been selected in India’s 15-player squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies next month, while Gill has been named among the reserves.
Under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, the Gujarat Titans franchise has recorded four wins and six defeats in their 10 league matches thus far. Currently, they hold the eighth position on the IPL 2024 points table.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru is currently in the tenth position in the points table 2024. They have managed to win only three matches out of 10 they have played so far.
