Watch: Ms Dhoni meeting with Rahul Dravid wins the internet

Former Indian cricket captain and Chennai Super Kings star MS Dhoni had a nice chat with his old teammate and Rajasthan Royals coach Rahul Dravid after the match on March 30 in Guwahati. Dravid came out for the usual handshakes after his team beat Chennai by just six runs, marking Rajasthan’s first win of this IPL season.

After the game, Dhoni encouraged the younger CSK players to greet Dravid, who has been dealing with a leg injury from playing cricket in Bengaluru. He’s been seen using crutches or an electric wheelchair but is on the mend. I’m recovering well and getting great support. Playing cricket matches wasn’t the smartest move at my age, but it happens, Dravid shared before the match.

During the game, Nitish Rana scored a quick 81 runs off 36 balls, and leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga took four wickets, helping Rajasthan to secure a narrow win. Rana, batting at number three, hit 10 fours and five sixes, but the Royals struggled toward the end and ended with 182/9.

Chennai, needing to chase down the score, once again fell short, ending with 176/6. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 63 runs but it wasn’t enough for victory, marking CSK’s second loss in a row. Dhoni’s famous late-game finishes seem to be fading away, as he couldn’t pull through in the final overs this time. Despite the loss, CSK still sits ahead of Rajasthan in the points table.
