Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of Indian cricket team, has called Virat Kohli a batting superstar and Shahenshah (meaning king of kings). This was Gambhir’s response to a light hearted conversation where he was linking popular bollywood films with names of cricketers.

Yuvraj Singh was chosen for the title ‘Badshah’, while Sachin Tendulkar earned himself the title Dabang.
No wonder he chose himself as ‘angry young man’.
However, Jasprit Bumrah got the khiladi honorific.
And he went on to stress that ace Indian fast bowler plays more important role than all these players put together.

The Kohli-Gambhir relationship has been one of the most debated relationships.
They have fought many times before, but they have only done so on the field. They often quarreled fiercely during matches of Indian Premier League (IPL).
However, in a match played earlier this year between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the two appeared to have gotten over their past quarrels as they were seen hugging each other.
Gambhir reminisced about his connection with Kohli after being appointed as head coach of Indian cricket team. “My relationship with Virat Kohli is between the two of us and not for TRP,” Gambhir said in his first press conference as Team India coach
He remarked that they have a very strong connection, “…and it will stay like that. However, to give it more publicity, what type of a relation do we have … my personal view is, it’s just for two people. I have conversed a lot with him (Kohli)… we have exchanged texts. And sometimes, it’s irrelevant just for the newspaper headlines. At present our main focus is working hard so as to make India proud people because this is actually our duty.”
