India and Pakistan’s impending match at the T20 World Cup experienced a huge fan moment when Star Sports, the tournament’s official broadcaster, published a new video starring Dwayne Johnson. In the video, Dwayne, a prominent character in both Hollywood and professional wrestling, is heard discussing the rivalries between the two nations.
The Rock said in the video, “When the greatest rivals collide, the world will stand still. This is more than just a cricket match. It’s time for India vs Pakistan – the greatest rivalry.”

India will be hoping to come back after being defeated by Pakistan by ten wickets in the previous edition, which was played in the United Arab Emirates. Following their meeting in the previous tournaments, India and Pakistan faced off twice at the Asia Cup 2022, with each team winning one game.
During the toss before the warm-up match against Australia, which India won by 6 runs, the Indian captain had earlier stated that the starting XI for the match has already been decided. However, he declined to provide any additional information.
