Pakistan Cricket Team is going through a lean path with 2 losses and one win in the ICC T20 Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. In the first match against India, Pakistan lost the thriller by four wickets and then Zimbabwe surprised them in the second match where the men in green lost the battle by one run.
Pakistan now almost seems out of the T20 World Cup and it would be a miracle if they manage to make it into the playoffs. Talking on his youtube channel a few days back, former Pakistan’s legend Shoaib Akhtar made fun of team India and predicted that India will be out of the tournament as well in the next week. Now the former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer has given a befitting reply to the former PAK legend. While speaking on BatBricks7, Wasim Jaffer said, “You know those people who have a parrot in hand and they predict the future, the tarot readers. I think Shoaib Akhtar is doing the same thing. He can see the future, who is doing what.” Wasim Jaffer further added,”I think it’s a very loose statement coming from such a player who has played so much international cricket. You don’t need to say that, because the teams are playing well. You need to understand that India is playing well. They escaped to a win courtesy of Virat Kohli, but India has been playing well for a while and they have got all the bases covered to win an international event.”
