Arshdeep’s coach revealed a fascinating story about Arshdeep Singh. He told, legend Wasim Akram has helped the Young Indian left-arm pacer to bowl better in the upcoming matches.
After the impressive performances in the IPL 2022, Indian young star pacer got the chance to play in the Asia Cup 2022. In UAE, Arshdeep Singh performed very well and surprised everyone with his bowling skills. His early day bowling Coach Jaswant Rai revealed interesting facts about him. He said that Ashdeep always wanted to bowl like his idol, Pakistani legend pacer Wasim Akram. And, Arshdeep got to meet him in the Asia Cup 2022.
Jaswant Singh said, “Arshdeep told me that he met Akram bhai who told him, ‘Sardarji, you are bowling very well. You are a good bowler. If you think you are perfect, then don’t come to me. If you want to ask me anything or learn something from me, you can come whenever you want”.
Earlier, Arshdeep Singh was trolled by the fans when he had dropped the catch in the high-voltage match against Pakistan in Super 4. Then Wasim Akram had supported the young left-arm pacer and said, “I have been seeing social media, and I have felt quite sad for this youngster. We must come out and support him. He is the future of Indian cricket, in my book”.
“Muqaabla Karna hai to mujhse karo, then I can reply back. I have a very simple theory. If somebody is rude to me, I will be 10 times ruder.” He added.
India has already begun their preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. India has to play home series against Australia and South Africa. But Arshdeep was not even selected for any series, and he will be reporting to National Cricket Academy (NCA) to maintain physical conditioning along with Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Arshdeep Singh already had stunned every one with his impressive bowling and his inch perfect Yorkers in death overs are instrumental part of his bowling. It will be interesting to see how Arshdeep will perform in the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2022. India will start their encounter in the T20 world cup against Pakistan on 23rd October 2022.
