Virender Sehwag slams Pakistan for their heinous act

Virender Sehwag, the former Indian cricketer, has criticized Pakistan for raising tensions with attacks on several sites in northern India. Pakistan launched missiles and drones at military stations in places like Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur. One drone managed to hit Jammu airport, while India was able to intercept several missiles and drones with its S-400 air defense system. They shot down two Kamikaze drones in Poonch. As things heated up at the border, Sehwag called out Pakistan for protecting its terrorist groups and stated that Indian forces would respond in a way Pakistan won’t forget.

Pakistan chose war when they could have stayed quiet. They’ve escalated things to protect their terrorist assets, and that says a lot about them. Our forces will respond appropriately, and Pakistan will remember it, Sehwag posted on his X account.

Other former cricketers, like Pragyan Ojha and Aakash Chopra, thanked the armed forces, while Venkatesh Prasad warned Pakistan of serious consequences. Meanwhile, Match 58 of the IPL 2025, scheduled at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, was called off due to the attacks from Pakistan. To ensure everyone’s safety, the IPL governing council decided to cancel the match halfway through, according to a media release from Devajit Saikia.
