Comfortable against the Australian bowlers, Kohli was able to notch a gritty half-century. This knock allowed him to surpass Sachin’s 23 runs in ICC ODI games (24) and have the most 50-plus scores. Rohit Sharma, India captain, is now third with 18 points; Sri Lanka great Kumar Sangakkara has 17 points.
