“Virat Knows when to be aggressive and when to…..” Rahul Dravid Praised Indian Star Batter Virat Kohli

The Indian team is on a tour of Bangladesh to play two test match series against the host. However, the men in blue have already lost the three-match ODI series against the host, and visitors will try their best to win the series in the longest format of cricket. In the absence of the regular skipper Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul is handling the captaincy role against Bangladesh in the first test encounter at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli is leading the batting side of the Indian team in the absence of Rohit Sharma in the first match of the bilateral series against Bangladesh. Virat hit a century in the last ODI match against Bangladesh and ended the century drought in the ODIs format.

On Thursday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India shared a video of head coach Rahul Dravid in which he was praising Virat Kohli. He explained that Virat knows when to be aggressive and he is a phenomenal player of all time.

“Virat Knows when to be aggressive and when to control the game; it’s incredible to watch and a good sign for us if he can build up. Virat has an incredible template in 50-over cricket. His record speaks for itself. It’s phenomenal the number of games he’s played,” Dravid said.

Virat Kohli was dismissed in the first innings on just 1 run in the series opening match. This Indian veteran cricketer will try his best to score remarkable runs in the second innings.

Further speaking on Kohli, the head coach said he is training hard, and young players will learn great things from him.

“He feels he’s back and is training as hard as I have ever seen him. For me, that has been a stand out, watching him train this past year, that never changes irrespective of whether he is doing well or not and that is a great lesson for a lot of the young players in the group,” Dravid added.
