Viral Video: Pakistan’s Hasan Ali Lost His Cool Against Crowd And Look What Happened

Hasan Ali made headlines after a video of him losing his cool at the crowd in a local tournament went viral on social media when the Pakistan cricket team was involved in an intriguing test match at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. In a video that was widely circulated online, Hasan could be seen becoming quite enraged with the cricket fans and nearly exchanging punches with them.

Hasan was playing a local match on Sunday in ArifWala, a city in the Pakpattan region of the Punjab province, according to sources in the Pakistani media.

The crowd was heard making fun of Hasan in the viral video for not playing for Pakistan and for losing a crucial catch against Australia in the 2021 T20 World Cup semifinal in Dubai. Hasan lost his patience with the crowd after a while and yelled at them for their repeated taunting. Hasan got into a physical fight before being pulled back by other spectators during the event.

Here’s the video:

Hasan was a consistent performer for the Men in Green across all formats and once ranked as the top ODI bowler in the world. However, he no longer plays for the Babar Azam-led team in both red and white ball cricket. The last time the right-arm bowler played for Pakistan was in the Asia Cup and the away Test series against Sri Lanka.

Hasan, however, was not chosen for either the Pakistani team that competed in the 2022 T20 World Cup, where they reached the championship game, or the team that will play England in the current Test series. Hasan has represented Pakistan in a total of 21 Test matches, 60 ODIs, and 50 T20Is. In 2017, he received the Player of the Series (POTS) honour for Pakistan’s historic Champions Trophy victory.
