Video- Suryakumar Yadav Enjoys A Ride With The Ground Staff After Abandoned ODI At Hamilton

Rain ruined an India-New Zealand match for the seventh time in a row, and this time, it washed out. Before the fixture, there was a 90% chance of rain. The game began as scheduled despite the impending rain, however, the interruption was caused by water droplets. Even though the game was cut down to 29 overs per side as the weather got stronger, even one inning wasn’t finished because of the prolonged downpour.

Suryakumar Yadav made the decision to ride with ground personnel as the rain continued to irritate the players. A member of the ground staff joined Suryakumar on the ground buggy so they could ride together.

Sanju Samson also made the decision to speak with the ground crew, and he gave them assistance as they were removing the covers. He was taken off the starting lineup.

With a 307-run victory in the first of three one-day internationals, New Zealand has a 1-0 lead. The Men in Blue will need to win the third ODI in order to avoid losing the ODI series in New Zealand. India has lost its last four ODIs in New Zealand.

Samson will be the focus of attention when he enters the fixture. Since he scored a respectable knock in the first game of the series, his omission from the second ODI came as a great shock. In the T20I series, Samson stayed on the sidelines.

On November 30 in Christchurch, the third and final ODI of the series will be played. Team India will depart for Bangladesh from New Zealand. Samson isn’t on the roster for that series, and Suryakumar has been given a break. For the Bangladesh series, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul will all be back.
