It was Jos Buttler’sthird century while chasing in the IPL, the highest by any batter; his eighth century overall in successful chases, tying with Babar Azam for the second spot. He scored 40 runs out of Rajasthan’s total of 46 runs in the last three overs.
The effort by Jos Buttler led his team to one of the most successful chases in IPL history, despite the wicket-keeper battling a leg injury.
Buttler’s performance at Eden Gardens earned him widespread respect and admiration, showcasing the brilliance of his innings on Tuesday. Numbers weren’t necessary to acknowledge the quality of his knock.
The superstar of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, who is also the co-owner of KKR congratulated the Royals on their exciting win over his team. When Jos Buttler sealed the victory, Khan was visibly enthusiastic, applauding the performance. He even embraced players from both KKR and RR which was a light-hearted moment for both the teams.

When Shah Rukh Khan saw Jos Buttler sitting down, he walked over to him. Even though Buttler stood up to greet the Bollywood star, Shah Rukh politely signaled for him to stay seated before giving him a warm hug.
While chasing a target of 224 runs, Jos Buttler smashed 107 runs off just 60 balls including nine fours and six sixes.
