India vs Bangladesh match in Adelaide on
Wednesday saw Liton Das in an explosive form. He played a firing knock of 60 runs with a strike rate of more than 200. He would have chased down the score single handedly.
When play resumed after the disruption of rain, KL Rahul produced an unbelievable throw to run Litton Das out. This was the turning point in the game.
During the 8th over of the Bangladesh innings. Najmul Hussain played a shot towards deep mid wicket on the second ball of the over by Ravichandran Ashwin. They started running between the wickets. Najmul insisted Litton for a second run. Litton half-heartedly agreed but started slow. KL Rahul quickly captured the ball and throwed towards bowling end for a direct hit. Litton was gone.
As soon as he dived Liton knew that he fell short of the crease. Dangerous looking batter was utterly disappointed at his batting partner. This eventually built the pressure on Bangladesh batting line up as they lost the rain affected match by 5 runs (DL method).
