Now surprising fans, a net bowler from Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mahesh Kumar possesses the same bowling action similar to that of Jasprit Bumrah. A video showcasing his bowling during a net session has gained significant attention on social media. Mahesh’s running approach closely resembles that of the renowned Indian pacer Bumrah just before he releases the ball.
The similarity in their bowling actions shows that Mahesh has effectively replicated the technique of the Mumbai Indians’ seamer.
Kumar was part of Gujarat Titans in 2022 before he joined the team based in Bengaluru. In the Indian Premier League 2024, RCB has won three out of 10 matches so far. After their win against the Punjab Kings in the second match, they had to wait for a month for their next victory. They then had a convincing victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium before securing their third win against Gujarat Titans.
