After the marriage of Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and stylish Indian batter KL Rahul, wedding bells have once again begun to ring as India’s top all-rounder Axar Patel wed Meha Patel on January 26 in Gujarat.
Axar can be seen enjoying the wedding festivities in a video that is going viral on social media while costumed as the bridegroom and wearing a sherwani. He is not a member of the India team which will play against New Zealand in a three-match T20I series beginning on January 27.
Meha Patel, Axar’s wife, is a nutritionist and dietitian. Additionally, she started and runs her own business called dt.meha patel and offers online counselling. She enjoys traveling and discovering new locations. She has a tattoo of Axar Patel’s name on her hand.
Axar has been aiming to secure his spot in India’s playing XI for ODI matches in addition to the other two formats on the professional front. He has shown signs of developing into a good all-rounder, and with India hoping to replicate their performance from 2011, Axar’s ability to bowl spin can be very valuable to the team.
He is one of the all-rounders who will be important in the buildup to the World Cup in October and November and will definitely want to secure his spot by the strength of his spectacular performance in the upcoming games.
