The 14-year-old boy Vaibhav Suryavanshi once more amazed the world with his extraordinary performance in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy match between Bihar and Arunachal Pradesh, which took place at the JSCA Oval in Ranchi on December 24.
The young Indian batsman, whose confidence was displayed during the match, hit a magical century in only 36 balls, making it the second-fastest hundred by an Indian in the history of List A cricket.

After the toss was won by Bihar, they opted to bat first and Vaibhav started the innings with Mangal Mahrour. Right from the start, the young batter playing was bold and fearless as he took full advantage of the fielding restrictions.
With the help of Mahrour, he was able to keep the score board moving and attack the bowlers with clean hitting and smart shot selection.
Together, the duo created an enormous opening partnership of 158 runs off just 14.3 overs, making Bihar clearly in control of the match.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi interestingly reached his 50 in only 25 balls and displayed no intention to stop. He reached his hundred off 36 balls hitting the ball all over the ground.
Mahrour was eventually out for 33 runs off 43 balls, but Vaibhav was still aggressive and completely dominating the bowlers of Arunachal Pradesh.
By this innings, Vaibhav just missed breaking the Indian record for the fastest List A century which is 35 balls by Anmolpreet Singh. Nonetheless, his accomplishment is magnificent, especially given his age.
This was also his third century in December, which proved his incredible form. At the beginning of the month, he made an unbroken 108 against Maharashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and then, a magnificent 171 off just 95 balls in the Under-19 Asia Cup opener against UAE.
