Usman Khawaja and Cameroon Green Broke The 44 Year Old Record On Indian Soil

The fourth test match between Australia and India is being played at Ahmedabad. Australian skipper Steve Smith won the toss on the first day and decided to bat first. This is the second-highest Test partnership between Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green in India so far. In 1979, playing in Chennai, AR, Border and KJ Hughes shared a partnership of 222 runs.

Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green left behind the record of a partnership between Norman O’Neill and Neil Harvey in 1959-60. There was a 207-run partnership between Norman O’Neill and Neil Harvey at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Apart from this, JW Brooks and RN Harvi played an inning of 204 runs in Brabourne, Mumbai, in 1956. Apart from this, in the year 1960, there was a 207-run partnership between RN Harvey and NCL O’Neill at Brabourne.
