In the midst of an indirect quarrel with Rishabh Pant, Urvashi Rautela attended the Asia Cup match despite declaring she doesn’t watch cricket.
Actress Urvashi Rautela went to the India-Pakistan Asia Cup game in Dubai despite having previously said that she doesn’t “watch cricket” and making an oblique jab at Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Urvashi published a photo from a fan account that showed the actor on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on her Instagram Stories. Urvashi captioned the image, “India vs. Pakistan.”
By the way, the Indian team decided to play Dinesh Karthik in place of Rishabh in the game that was played on Sunday. But he was there, supporting his side from the team’s dugout. One individual commented on the original post by saying, “Last time she said I don’t watch cricket.”
One person inquired, “Inko cricket pasand nahi tha na (She didn’t like cricket, right)?”. While another user commented on Instagram “Accha isiliye Mr. RP nahi khel raha (that’s why RP is not playing)….”.Urvashi was shown carrying the flag in an Instagram post that was posted by a fan account. Urvashi hosted an Instagram Ask Me Anything earlier this month. When asked by a supporter who her favourite cricketer was, “I don’t follow cricket in any way, therefore I don’t know any players. I have the utmost regard for Virat Sir and Sachin Sir.”
Recently, Urvashi and Rishabh made fun of each other on social media, but they avoided specifically naming anyone. After the performer claimed in an interview that a person named “RP” waited for her for hours in a hotel lobby, Rishabh disregarded the claim, claiming that “people lie in interviews for little popularity.”
“Chotu bhaiyaa (little brother) could play bat ball or anything,” Urvashi remarked on her Instagram Stories after that. The phrase “young kiddo darling, tere liye #RAKSHABANDHAN mubarak ho” means, “I am no naïve girl to be defamed.” She also included the hashtags Don’t take advantage of a silent girl and RP CHOTU BHAIYYA (little brother).
As they entered and exited several well-known eateries, events, and parties in Mumbai in 2018, there were rumours that the two were dating. Reports alleged that the two had blocked one another on WhatsApp much later in the same year.
In 2019, Rishabh shot down rumors and declared his love for girlfriend Isha Negi. In an interview in August, Urvashi remarked that a certain “Mr RP” waited for her for almost 10 hours in a hotel lobby to meet her while she was getting some sleep and that she felt bad for having made him wait for so long.
