There are reports that Hardik Pandya is not an automatic choice for vice captaincy, as Rishabh Pant, who has performed extremely well in the IPL, is also in contention. The reports further add that Yuzi Chahal might miss the flight to the World Cup as Kuldeep Yadav is going to be India’s main spinner. Apart from that, Axar Patel is going to be India’s second spinner, with Ravi Bishnoi missing out.

As per the reports, the Indian top order will have Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Virat Kohli, followed by Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Jadeja in the middle order, while Rinku Singh and Shivam Dube might be considered as backup options in the batting department.
