The Giant Killers , Afghanistan have named their squad for the upcoming T-20 World Cup. Rashid Khan is set to lead the team in the mega-showpiece event, which is set to take place from June 1 to 29.
There have been no extraordinary picks in the squad, and almost all of the star players have found a place in the squad. The only major surprise is Hazratullah Zazai not finding the place and having been included in the travel reserve.
Mohammad Nabi, who is currently in the Mumbai Indians set-up, is still one of the pivotal members of the squad, along with Nangeyalia Kharote,the youngest, who made his T-20 debut earlier this year.
Karim Jannat and Najibullah will be taking the charge in Afghanistan’s middle order, while Ibrahim Zadran and Rehmanullah Gurbaz will find their place at the top.
