Following an impressive 100-run victory over the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, fast bowler Trent Boult of the Mumbai Indians was appreciative of the batting unit of his side as it managed to score a huge total of 210 in 20 overs. “As a team, we can’t really ask for much more than that. The batters built it well. 210 was a phenomenal score on that kind of pitch. Strong overall performance. We’re a mix of players having so much experience, and we’re definitely doing well and six in a row is fabulous,” says Boult during the post-match conversation. He added about how important is the momentum with the planning because T20 cricket is all about those aspects. “It’s all T20 about momentum. It’s about sticking to our game plan. I’ve been lucky enough to obtain some experience playing here,” said the player. “It’s always hard to be against their boundary hitters up the top; we knew they would come hard at us.” Even on his junior coach, he said, “He’s a huge addition to our team. He missed a few games at the start but speaks for himself. He did his job well, and I’m looking forward to the next match.”
Trent Boult, Karn Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah-the three MI bowlers-turned the Jaipur Sawai Mansingh Stadium into a graveyard last night, delivering a 100-run victory to MI against the Rajasthan Royals. This was MI’s sixth consecutive victory after an initial meltdown that saw them winning just one out of their first five matches. RR were bowled out for just 117 runs while chasing a target of 218. This also led to MI becoming the first team to defeat the Royals in Jaipur since 2012. Boult wrapped up his spell with an excellent performance of three wickets in just two overs.
