Trevis Head smashed 100 in just 39 deliveries. The southpaw led the foundation of SRH 287, which in turn became the highest score in the history of the IPL.
The opening duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head added 108 runs in the first eight overs themselves, which paved the way for the upcoming batters to go for big shots from the first ball itself.
On his bromance with Abhishek Sharma, Travis said that they just love to spend time together and feed each other confidence off the field.
Head also credited their batters for going all out against the RCB bowlers.
Head was also quite happy with the way he was timing the ball.
Speaking about the same, Travis Head said, “The surface played beautifully.
We did get feedback from the groundsmen. We thought we had to adapt in the opening six overs. But we had the batting order, and they had the license to play after the bowlers.”
Head further added, “Abhishek (Sharma) and I complement each other very well. We feed off each other’s confidence. I’m loving batting with him.”
The batter has been in splendid form this season. He, along with Abhishek Sharma, are providing a rapid and quick start to Sunrisers Hyderabad in almost every match.
This was the fourth-fastest hundred in the IPL. Travis Head is only behind Chris Gayle,David Miller, and Yusuf Pathan in that list in terms of scoring 100 in fewer balls.
