“This is absolute….”Tom Moody brutally trolled Punjab kings over their batting

Ex-IPL-winning coach Tom Moody brutally criticizes the Punjab Kings for their approach to batting. Punjab Kings lost their sixth match of the season and are currently placed at number 9 in the points table.

Tom Moddy criticized the Punjab Kings for their approach against spinners as the trio of Noor, Rashid, and Sai Kishore rattled through the Punjab Kings batting line-up. Punjab Kings earlier got off to a flier, scoring 52 of 5.3 overs.

In his interaction with ESPNCRICINFO, Tom Moody said, “Very poor, extremely poor with their spin management. 7/68 off-spin was an absolute disaster. It was the way the players got out against spin that would frustrate me the most. It looked reckless. I get the fact that you need to be proactive and busy.”

Tom Moody further added, “Yes, GT have a good spin attack, but they would have gone into this contest knowing that would have been the challenge. It looked like a complete meltdown.”

Former Indian opener Wasim Jaffar Part of the same discussion panel said that the batters needed to take responsibility. Prabhsimran Singh, who scored 35 of just 21 deliveries, fell to Mohit Sharma even after getting started.  Wasim Jaffer feels that the batter should have played in a more responsible manner.

Jaffer said, “Punjab has themselves to blame. Prabhsimran gave them a decent start, but he should have kicked on and gotten a much bigger score. I thought he should have taken a lot of responsibility.”

Jaffar further added, “When you have so many players who are out of form and not scoring runs, you get days like these.”
