These Two Batters Could Break The Record Of Virat Kohli’s 50th ODI Century, Karam Akmal’s Huge Prediction On Remarkable Milestone

The former Pakistani batter Kamran Akmal has given a huge statement regarding the star Indian batter Virat Kohli. The former wicket-keeper has said that Babar Azam from Pakistan and Shubman Gill from India are two batters who have the potential to break the record of Kamran Akmal.

In the first semi-final of the 2023 World Cup on Wednesday, Virat Kohli surpassed Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries. He achieved this milestone in his 279th ODI innings against New Zealand.

Babar Azam has 19 centuries to his name in ODI cricket from 114 innings, whereas the 24-year-old Shubman Gill has smashed six centuries in 43 ODI innings.

“Vo (record) top-3 waale he tod sakte hai 50 hundreds ka. Middle-order batsman nahi tod payega. Hamare paas Babar (Azam) hai vo kar sakta hai. Top-3 mein khelta hai. Unke paas abhi (Shubman) Gill hai, vo peeche lag sakta hai is record ke (Only the top three batters can break the record of 50 ODI centuries, and the middle-order can’t break it. We have Babar Azam who can break it. They have Shubman Gill who can chase the record),” Akmal said on ARY News.

After the 2023 World Cup, Babar Azam resigned from the captaincy across all three formats for Pakistan.
