‘These Are The Things I Learned From Him’, Rishabh Pant Huge Praise For Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma

Young Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant is making every ball count in IPL 2024. Coming back to cricket after recovering from injuries sustained in a car accident, the Delhi Capitals captain has impressed. Pant currently holds the fourth position in the Orange Cap race with 342 runs in 9 matches. His stellar performances have put him in contention for a spot in the Indian squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Ahead of the intense clash against MI at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 27, the wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant praised the team India skipper Rohit Sharma.

“With Rohit bhai you can share a lot of innovative ideas. He is very open and proactive. He listens carefully and gives his feedback. He is very thoughtful, he does not act on instinct, he knows when to apply a specific strategy, he’s a very result-oriented person,” he said.

Pant also mentioned how Sharma supports his players and understands the thought process of each player.

“When you are experimenting, you should be open to different ideas. He understands the individuality of every player. He takes effort to know everyone so he knows how a certain player thinks and then he acts on it.”

“Whether it is a good or bad part about a person, he knows how to react and cope with them, which is very important. He tries to understand the exact thought processes of players and decides whether a particular thing should happen or not,” he added.

The star batter also shared the valuable lessons one could learn from the Indian skipper.

“Since he is friendly, he trusts his people and backs them. People also trust him back and have faith in him. These are things I learned from him,” he further stated.
