“There’s no such …”PCB makes a shocking claim regarding the reports of a bilateral series between India and Pakistan in neutral venue

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stated on Monday that it has not suggested playing a T20 series against India in another country, and its main priority is to successfully host the Champions Trophy. There were discussions about PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi talking with officials from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about the possibility of a T20 series in a different country, possibly in England or Australia. However, a very trustworthy source said, “There is no such proposal being discussed because our biggest task right now is to organize the Champions Trophy properly, and we also have a busy international schedule.”

The person speaking mentioned that the main goals for the PCB during the ICC meetings in Colombo were to secure approval for the budget of the Champions Trophy and to receive guarantees from the ICC and BCCI that India would participate in the major event in Pakistan.

“This is our primary focus at the moment. Therefore, we are not considering any individual matches with India,” the source continued.

India stopped playing the bialetral series with Pakistan since 2012 after Pakistan came to India for a brief series of limited-overs matches.

Neither country has played a full series of Test matches since Pakistan’s visit to India in 2007.

India’s involvement in the Champions Trophy is still uncertain, as there are rumors that the Indian team may prefer to play their games in a location other than Pakistan.
