There Are Only Two Complete Bowlers In India, Salman Butt Points Out The Weakest Aspect of Men In Blue

Former Pakistan batter Salman Butt has once again spitted fire against the team India after the squad was announced for the Asia Cup 2023. He said that team India depends heavily on their batting as they don’t have a strong bowling lineup.

Butt feels that other than experienced fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami the Indian team lacks a bowler who can independently secure victories for them. However, the former player highlighted that Mohammed Siraj’s recent performances have been remarkable and he can add extra value to India’s bowling attack.

While speaking on his Youtube Channel, Salman Butt said,”Barring Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, there is no complete bowler in India. There isn’t anybody else who is a one-man matchwinner. Mohammed Siraj is an upcoming bowler and has improved significantly. However, apart from these two or three pacers, there isn’t a bowler who can threaten the opposition.”

“So, it is understandable why they are more dependent on their batting. Much like England, India rely on their batters to set up a big total, as they do not have enough choices in bowling that they would ideally want,” he added.

Jasprit Bumrah has recently made his comeback with the T20 series against Ireland. He is also captaining the team and now Indian Cricket management will expect an amazing performance from Bumrah in Asia Cup. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer who were going through their injury have also returned to the side for the upcoming tournament.
